Charcoal & Lavendar Melt & Pour Soap Recipe - DIY SOAP PROJECT 1


I have never thought of making soap at home. But when i came across a post in pinterest of making our own soap at home, i was drawn into it. Immediately i looked up online for the ingredient and i could easily find them. So i ordered a batch of them and here i am with my first flavour soap.

I made a charcoal and lavendar flavour soap. I am yet to experiment on many other flavours as well. I have given all the source for buying the things online if you want to make your own soap.






THIS SOAP LATHERS REALLY WELL.



Things you need:

Activated Charcoal Powder - 1 tsp (BUY ONLINE)
Goat Milk Melt & Pour Soap Base (BUY ONLINE) - 250 grams
Soap Moulds (BUY ONLINE)
Lavendar Essential Oil few drops (BUY ONLINE)

Method:

Take melt and pour soap base and cut it into cubes. Take it in a microwave safe bowl or over a double boiler and melt it completely.

Add in charcoal powder and essential oil and mix well. Immediately pour it into moulds. 

This will set very very fast.

Once it is cold. remove from mould and wrap it in plastic wrap.

Enjoy.

cut it into cubes

take a sauce pan with water

place the bowl on top

heat so it melts



add charcoal powder

mix well

once it is mixed well

add lavendar oil

pour in mould immediately. it sets very very fast
