Lose Weight with Me - Post 2

I was overwhelmed with your response on the lose weight with me section. I thought you wont be interested in these type of post. But i am glad that my posts help you to get motivated. I am happy that now i have company on this.

I will continue to post these pictures along with my regular baby posts and baby articles.  And i will try to link the recipe for the meals i created (most of the time, if i have the link)

Here is another meal inspiration for you.

BREAKFAST:  Avocado Toast with Egg

1 Wheat Bread Slice, Half a mashed avocado, 1 Fried Egg

LUNCH: Phulka, Black Eyed Peas Curry & Brinjal Poriyal

I drank lots of water, worked out for 30 mins, 20 mins walking and running and 10 mins of abs exercise.

When you are in diet, it is best to avoid eating night or just have it light.

DINNER WAS LIGHT. Had 1 banana & 1 glass of soy milk.

Lose Weight with Me - A New Section

My biggest concern about being a food blogger is, it is really hard to maintain your weight when you keep on cooking delicious dishes. As the years passed by the weight took over me. It is very recently i realized that i am obese. So i thought, this is the time and i should start exercising and be on a healthy diet. 

I can never go into crash diet. I somehow cannot continue that. So i created a set of rules for me of what to eat and what not to eat. I thought of documenting the process and let me see how it all goes.

Mahi's Fourth Month Photoshoot

Mahi was so fast and she is such a quick learner. She flipped over on her third month. I was first so excited to see her turn over this fast, because maha turned over only on fifth month. She started to swim on the floor this month. She is doing things so fast than maha.

Maha's Onam 2017 Pictures - Onam Wishes

Belated Onam Wishes Everyone.I know this has to shared on onam but i got a little busy. So didn't update this blog for quite sometime.

We had no plans of dressing maha like this on onam. But satheesh was scrolling his facebook feed and saw a picture of a little girl dressed like this. Immediately he asked me to dress maha like that. So we got into actions.

Luckily when we asked maha about this, she happily accepted it. Thank god.

She cooperated well. 

This is how we did it.

1)We used her pattu pavadai blouse which is a hot pink colour as a blouse. 

2)Over that blouse we put maha's skirt which was a little tight so it fit perfectly over her chest.

3)We took satheesh's pattu dhoti and folded it in half and wore it over her and secured it with a safety pin.

4)I put a side pony tail on her hair and inserted a thick bangle. Then i brought her hair little section  inside the bangle and twisted it over the bangle. I did this with all the hair so it covered the entire bangle. Secured the hair with lots of bobby pin.

5)I had a fake jasmine flower. So put that around her hair.

6)A hot red lipstick on her lips.

7)A round bhindi. Used sandal wood powder and mixed with water and applied it on her forehead.

8)Then all the ornaments goes. I used a kasu necklace which i got for me in amazon. Little white stone jimiki and her matching bangles. And ofcourse her belly chain.

I am getting lots and lots of mails from my viewers asking me to post feeding schedule for babies. So decided to start this series. Many of us have doubts about how many times to feed baby, what foods to feed baby and stuffs like that..I am sharing the schedule which i followed for Maha. This is her 6th month schedule. I didn't start on rice during this stage, most of her foods where fruits, veggies and grains.
